Privacy
A plain-English privacy notice.
This page explains what information is handled when you visit nowham.dev or send a project enquiry.
Last updated: 22 August 2026
Who is responsible
Noam Efergan is the data controller for information collected through this consulting website. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to info@nowham.dev.
Information collected
When you submit the enquiry form, it can include:
- Your name, work email, business or company
- Project type, likely budget and timeframe
- The business, customer and project context you choose to provide
- How you heard about the service
Please do not include sensitive personal information, confidential credentials, production data or source code in the initial enquiry.
Why it is used
Enquiry information is used to understand your request, reply, assess whether the work is a sensible fit and take steps you request before a possible contract. The legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps at your request. A limited record of correspondence may also be kept for the legitimate interests of managing professional relationships and protecting the business.
Enquiry details are not added to a mailing list, sold, used for advertising or used for solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Hosting, forms and analytics
The website is hosted by Netlify. Netlify Forms processes and stores form submissions on Noam’s behalf, and Netlify’s server logs provide aggregate website analytics. See Netlify’s privacy statement.
The site can also use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, referral sources and actions such as contact-button clicks. Plausible does not use cookies or persistent identifiers. Names, email addresses, company names, budgets and free-text form answers are not sent to Plausible. See Plausible’s data policy.
Sharing and international processing
Information is shared only with service providers needed to host the site, receive enquiries and operate the consulting business, or where disclosure is required by law. Some providers may process information outside the UK under their applicable contractual data-protection safeguards.
How long information is kept
Enquiries that do not become active work are reviewed at least annually and deleted when there is no reasonable need for follow-up or a business record. If an enquiry becomes a client engagement, relevant correspondence and transaction records may be kept longer where needed to perform the contract, resolve disputes or meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Netlify submissions are reviewed and deleted regularly rather than used as a permanent contact database.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information, receive a portable copy, or object to how it is used. Contact info@nowham.dev to make a request.
You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
