Dee Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Dee handles information when you use the Dee iOS app.
Dee is provided by Noam Efergan. If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact info@nowham.dev.
Summary
Dee is a Muay Thai training planner and workout companion. The app stores your training profile, plans, settings, and workout history on your device. If iCloud is available, that data can also sync through your private iCloud database so it is available on your Apple devices.
Dee does not sell your personal information. Dee does not include advertising SDKs.
Information Dee Handles
Dee may store the information you enter or generate in the app, including:
- Your onboarding choices, such as training goals, experience level, preferred schedule, session duration, available equipment, stance, training obstacles, and limitations or injury notes you choose to provide.
- Generated training plans, session details, safety notes, and plan adjustments.
- Workout history, such as completed workout title, completion date, duration, completed block count, and related session identifier.
- App settings, such as voice cues, countdowns, sound, haptics, speech rate, and speech volume.
- A local app user identifier used for app data structure and future migration support.
Dee does not require you to create a Dee account and does not use Sign in with Apple for app identity.
Local Storage and iCloud Sync
Dee stores app data locally using Apple’s app storage technologies. When iCloud is available for the app, Dee may sync your profile, plans, settings, and workout history through your private iCloud database.
iCloud sync is provided by Apple and is associated with your Apple Account. Dee does not receive your Apple Account password or other Apple sign-in credentials.
If iCloud is unavailable, restricted, or you are not signed in, Dee can continue working with local device storage.
AI Plan Generation
Dee can use AI systems to generate or adapt training plans. The app prefers Apple-provided models when available, including on-device processing and Apple Private Cloud Compute where supported.
If Apple model generation is unavailable or fails, Dee may use a remote AI fallback through AIProxy, which forwards structured generation requests to an OpenAI-compatible model service. Those requests can include training-planning context needed to generate or adapt a plan, such as your level, goals, preferred schedule, equipment, stance, obstacles, limitations or injury notes, current session blocks, and allowed exercise options. When that fallback is used, AIProxy also receives a device-level identifier supplied by iOS and network information such as an IP address so it can enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, operate the service, and measure its performance. Because the training-planning context, device identifier, and network information are part of the same fallback operation, Dee treats them as potentially associated with that device. They are not used to identify you by name or Dee account, for advertising, or for cross-app tracking.
When you use Dee in Hebrew, plan titles, session names, safety notes, and other generated plan text may be translated remotely through the same AI fallback. Those requests include only deterministic text identifiers and the canonical English plan text needed to produce Hebrew equivalents. They do not include your Apple Account details, and Dee does not use them to create a Dee account or sell your data.
Do not enter information in Dee that you do not want processed for training-plan generation. Dee is designed for general sport and fitness planning, not medical diagnosis or treatment.
Analytics
Dee uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand how the app is used so it can be improved.
TelemetryDeck receives pseudonymous product-usage signals such as event names and coarse parameters (for example, which tab was selected, which AI engine produced a plan, workout duration in seconds, or whether Dee Pro is active). Dee creates a random analytics-only installation identifier, stores it in app-private local settings, and gives it to TelemetryDeck, which hashes it before transmission. It is not derived from Apple’s identifier for vendor or from any identifier used by AIProxy. TelemetryDeck does not receive your name, email address, or free-form text you enter in the app, and Dee does not connect the installation identifier to your training profile.
These analytics are not used for advertising, cross-app tracking, or profiling you across other companies’ apps or websites. Dee does not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt for this analytics use.
Subscriptions and Apple Ads Attribution
Dee uses RevenueCat and Apple’s App Store / StoreKit to provide and manage subscriptions. When you view, purchase, restore, or use a subscription, RevenueCat receives subscription purchase history and related App Store receipt and transaction information. RevenueCat uses this information to validate purchases, provide Dee Pro entitlements, prevent fraud, support app functionality, and provide subscription analytics. Dee does not receive your payment-card or other payment details. Dee does not require an account; RevenueCat assigns an anonymous app user identifier that Dee does not connect to your name, email address, or Dee training profile.
Dee uses Apple’s AdServices framework to measure whether an install or redownload resulted from Dee’s own Apple Ads campaign. Dee sends an Apple attribution token to RevenueCat. RevenueCat requests and stores Apple’s standard attribution information, which may include attribution status and campaign, ad-group, keyword, ad, country-or-region, conversion-type, and claim-type fields. Dee uses this information, together with subscription results, to understand campaign performance and improve its own advertising.
The standard attribution used by Dee does not provide the IDFA, click or impression timestamps, or information that identifies a user or device. Dee and RevenueCat do not use subscription or attribution information to track you across other companies’ apps or websites, serve third-party advertising, or sell personal information. Dee does not request App Tracking Transparency permission for this use.
Third-Party Services
Dee relies on the following third-party or platform services:
- Apple iCloud and CloudKit for optional private-database sync.
- Apple on-device model, translation, and Private Cloud Compute technologies where available.
- AIProxy and an OpenAI-compatible model service for remote AI fallback when Apple generation is unavailable or fails.
- TelemetryDeck for pseudonymous product analytics, as described above.
- Apple’s App Store / StoreKit for subscription purchases and AdServices for Apple Ads attribution.
- RevenueCat for purchase validation, Dee Pro entitlements, subscription analytics, and Apple Ads attribution, as described above.
Dee does not use advertising networks or tracking SDKs that profile users across apps or websites.
Deleting Your Data
You can delete Dee app data from the app’s Settings screen. Deleting app data removes your Dee profile, plans, settings, and workout history from the device. If iCloud sync is active, the deletion is also intended to sync to your private iCloud database.
You can also manage or remove app data through iOS device settings and iCloud settings where Apple provides those controls.
Analytics signals already sent to TelemetryDeck are pseudonymous and are retained according to TelemetryDeck’s own retention practices.
Subscription and attribution records already received by Apple or RevenueCat are not deleted by Dee’s in-app Delete Data control and may be retained under those providers’ policies. Contact info@nowham.dev for a privacy request.
Retention
Dee keeps local and iCloud-synced app data until you delete it, uninstall the app, remove the relevant iCloud data, or Apple platform retention behavior removes it.
Remote AI providers may process requests according to their own service operations and policies. Dee does not use remote AI requests to create a Dee account or sell your data.
Apple, RevenueCat, and TelemetryDeck may retain records they process according to their own legal obligations, service operations, and retention policies.
Children’s Privacy
Dee is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of majority in your location, use Dee only with permission from a parent or guardian.
Health and Fitness Information
Dee may handle fitness-related preferences and limitation notes that you choose to enter. When remote AI fallback is used, those preferences and notes can be included in the structured plan-generation request described above. Dee does not connect to Apple HealthKit and is not a medical device. The app’s training plans are for general sport and fitness purposes only.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when Dee changes how it handles information. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
